Alexey Dolgushin was born in 1959 in St. Petersburg. He graduated from the Art and Graphics Department of the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia in 1984. He has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1994. He has held numerous solo exhibitions of paintings and graphics, as well as participated in group exhibitions in Russia and abroad. In 2002, he organized a large exhibition of printed graphics, "Naturzhiv," at the Union of Artists. Alexey Dolgushin has participated in over 70 exhibitions, many of which are solo, including international exhibitions.
His paintings and graphic works are housed in four museums: the Simferopol State Art Museum, the renowned Aivazovsky Gallery in Feodosia, the Hermitage-Vyborg Exhibition Center in Vyborg, and the Khazine Gallery in Kazan. In 2012, he won a prize at the All-Russian Competition of Creative Works for Artist-Teachers. He is the founder of the large St. Petersburg creative group "10."
Aleksey Dolgushin's paintings and drawings are held in private collections in Russia, Italy, the USA, France, Germany, Finland, and other countries.
